War Watercolors Traveling Exhibit

The
war watercolors traveling exhibit was a one-man
show tour of watercolors that he painted with the troops. He set
up an extra pup tent for his painting. While stationed in
Rome, Naples and Florence, he painted murals for the Army clubs
there and illustrated the official history of the II Corp of Engineers.
This watercolor show travelled to the Milwaukee Art Institute,
U. of Indiana Fine Arts Center, Ripon College, Wis.; Kalamazoo institute
of Art, Fitchburg Art Center, Mass. Margaret Brown Art Gallery,
Boston, Massachusetts.Read Review
