| Fontaine re-worked many of his
compositions in different mediums, sizes and colors often spanning his entire life time.
Following are compositions that he worked repeatedly, maybe never satisfied, or maybe too
satisfied, but nevertheless it is interesting to see the continuing strength of these
forms, shapes and movements. |
He titled many of them the same
with different numerals, obviously intending a series. Others he didn't give any such
clues, yet the similarities are too obvious to overlook. There are also cases, where
clients liked the compositions enough that he purposefully, made almost exact duplicates,
in order to keep selling |
